- "Vasos Vacíos" is the first and most awarded compiled album by Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, originally released on CD in 1993.
- It contains seventeen tracks, including two new ones: "V Centenario" and "Matador", and five songs that were reversioned: "Cadillacs", "Te Tiraré del Altar", "Mi Novia Se Cayó en un Pozo Ciego", "El Satánico Dr. Cadillac", and "Basta de Llamarme As".
- The album's name is given by the homonymous song that first appeared on the "El Ritmo Mundial" record in 1988.
- The new track "Matador" became an undisputed hit in the band's repertoire, alongside "Vasos Vacíos" (featuring the incomparable voice of Celia Cruz).
- The music video for "Matador" ranked second on MTV's 100 Videos, only surpassed by Michael Jackson's "Thriller".
- For the first time, this acclaimed album is available in vinyl format (double LP).
