PU 5000 is a one-part PU-Polyurea enamel designed for indoor use. Its formula, free from heavy metals, sulfonic surfactants, carboxylates, and mercurial fungicides, ensures rapid drying and outstanding hardness. This lacquer offers smooth levelling properties, preventing brush marks, and delivers a silky, shiny finish. Suitable for high-traffic areas, the PU 5000 provides excellent durability and can be applied on various surfaces such as wooden furniture, wooden floors, or cement floors. It exhibits remarkable chemical resistance when used on cementitious floors and is ideal for spaces like parking lots, gyms, basketball courts, and commercial premises. Preparation involves a fine machine polishing, followed by dust removal and cleaning the surface before application. Apply a minimum of 1 coat diluted with a maximum of 5% polyurethane thinner and then a minimum of 3 more coats, diluted with a maximum of 5% thinner. Additional coats can be added for increased mechanical resistance. After application, it is recommended to place felt pads under movable furniture to prevent damage. For maintaining the original appearance of surfaces, it is advised to use PU 5000 Crystal only, without concentrated catalyst. Note: Suitable application temperature ranges from 10ºC to 40ºC with necessary precautions against condensation to ensure optimal results. The product is available in different sizes and has a shelf life of 6 months under specified storage conditions.
