Malika Doray was born in Paris in 1974. After a degree in history and ethnology, she studied art at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliquées. In 2005, she was awarded the Illustration Prize at the Forum Métiers du Livre in Paris. She has published numerous albums for preschool children and has become one of the most prominent authors of children's books in her country. Since 1999, she has been working in an early stimulation school with children between the ages of one and three, which has allowed her to address in her works essential themes for children's development and learning.
