- According to the Rolling Stone magazine (Buenos Aires), this work was ranked number 17 among the best in the history of Argentine rock.
- For this studio album, the musical group opted for a much more straightforward approach. They eliminated the orchestra from the first album (Serú Girán, 1978), which had not been fully accepted by the audience, and composed simpler and more direct songs.
- The cover of this album is a parody of the Argentine magazine Gente, featuring the members of the group.
