It is suitable for use in various settings such as pipelines, tanks, autoclaves, dryers, and ventilation systems. The thermometer features a bronze drawn tube sheath with a polished finish, measuring 25.4mm in diameter and a display window of 213mm high x 20mm wide. The borosilicate glass thermometer comes with an internal acrylic scale, all protected by a hermetic glass tube. It displays temperature in Celsius degrees with a scale division of 5°C between lines. The numbers are in black over a white acrylic background, with a mercury-based temperature-sensitive liquid. The thermometer weighs 280 grams with the sheath and 300 grams with packaging. It has a brass thermowell connection oriented downwards, measuring Ø ½” W/GAS. The thermowell has a length of 68mm (excluding the thread), a total length of 82mm including the thread, an outer diameter of Ø 12.7mm, a hexagonal mounting nut of 28.6mm, and a brass threaded top cap. The maximum width is 28.7mm, and the total height including the thermowell is 350mm. The maximum recommended ambient or process temperature is 80% of the full-scale range.
