In June 1984, just months before Los Abuelos de la Nada entered the studio to record their third album, Miguel Abuelo completed his second solo album 'Buen Dia, Dia' at Panda Studios in the capital. This project was something Abuelo had started years earlier in France, and it brought together an impressive array of talented musicians. Among the contributors are notable names such as Fito Páez, Osvaldo Fattoruso, Horacio Fontova, Daniel Melingo, Claudio Gabis, Andrés Calamaro, Gringuí Herrera, and Cachorro López.

The album features ten tracks, including two recorded in Paris in 1978 with engineer Denis Coutard—'Va Silvestre Bajo el Sol' and a rendition of the classic Argentine song 'La Balsa.' Another standout track is a new version of 'Mariposas de Madera,' with Miguel performing alongside his son, Gato Azul Peralta. 'Buen Dia, Dia' stands out as Miguel Abuelo's only solo album released in Argentina, making it a significant part of contemporary Argentine music. This vinyl edition of 'Buen Dia, Dia' adds an essential work to the discography of one of the most imaginative and lyrical artists in Latin rock history.
