At its core is the TCRT5000 sensor, which emits an infrared beam that reflects off obstacles, allowing for precise detection thanks to its reliable photodiode mechanism. The output signal of the photodiode is compared using a high-efficiency LM393 comparator, ensuring effectiveness in varied conditions.
This module is user-friendly, featuring two LEDs that provide instant feedback: one lights up to indicate the module is powered, while the other activates when an obstacle is detected, aiding in easy adjustments. The wiring is straightforward, with a VCC for the power supply, GND for negative, and OUT for signal output. With a reflective detection distance between 1mm and 25mm and a compact PCB size of just 3.5cm x 1cm, it’s both powerful and space-efficient.
