For new wood, sand in the direction of the grain, remove any dust, and apply Tersuave's Preservative Curador to guard against biological threats. Dilute the lacquer with 20 to 30% Tersuave Polyurethane Thinner for the first coat, followed by 2 to 3 undiluted coats, allowing 3 hours of drying time between applications. In cases where you’re working with previously varnished or lacquered wood, it’s essential to strip off the old finish completely using Remotutto Gel Remover. After preparing the surface, follow the same procedure as for new wood. If the wood’s previous lacquer is in good condition, simply ensure it is clean and sand it lightly to remove any shine, then apply 2 to 3 coats minimally diluted for exceptional results.
